Chicago Voters - How to Make an Informed Vote For Judges in 2016

Chicago voters, the judicial recommendations for 2016 have been published. Look up your sample ballot (and other voter info), cross-reference your judges with the chart below (published by the Sun Times and others as a public service), and bring your notes with you when you vote. Yes, that's allowed.

Thinking about voting before November 8? Here are details on early voting.

Ever wondered how the various associations arrive at their recommendations? You can get narrative regarding how the Illinois State Bar Association formed their opinions here -- they even mention a suggested write-in, for the Hopkins vacancy in the 1st Subcircuit. You can also get detailed notes from The Chicago Council of Lawyers and the Chicago Bar Association. (I was unable to find details from the other associations I looked up.)

All this and more can be discovered at voteforjudges.org.
